California Highway Patrol officials tracked down a suspected Grand Theft Auto driver in Riverside Thursday night.
Inland Empire law enforcement launched a chase and the driver was recorded at nearly 100 miles per hour.
The CHP began pursuit while driving on the westbound 60 Freeway before the driver transitioned to the southbound 57 Freeway via Lemon and then onto the 60 Freeway again.
A Sky5 video showed the suspect slipping through traffic and at times nearly losing control.

The suspect was spotted on 10 Fwy en route to Santa Monica just before the retreat of CHP ground forces on March 9, 2023 (KTLA).
CHP ground forces eventually decided to withdraw while law enforcement helicopters pursued the suspect from the air.
CHP did not say whether the driver was arrested or fled.
