WCEC Women’s Business Center is honoring Women’s History Month by providing key resources to help women-owned small businesses succeed. WCEC’s mission is to empower women entrepreneurs by serving as a go-to resource for New Jersey women and her BIPOC-owned small businesses. WCEC Women’s Business Center hosts state-of-the-art webinars, one-on-one business counseling, and annual events.
This year, two sessions will be held in honor of Women’s History Month. On Monday, March 13, the WCEC will host a live webinar titled “Women’s History Month: Grants and Loans” to discuss funding opportunities, deadlines, criteria, and application times for women-owned businesses. Review best practices. Panel on Friday, March 31 Her discussion will feature local female business owners based in New Jersey. Panelists discuss the difficult journey, its successes, and the best her practices learned along the way.

According to the National Women’s Business Council’s (NWBC) 2022 Annual Report, women-owned businesses “are making a significant contribution to American entrepreneurship.” A female business owner in the United States makes up about 41% of companies with no paid employees and her 19.9% of employee-based companies, employing an estimated 10.1 million workers.
It is the privilege of WCEC to contribute to the success of these businesses, not just during Women’s History Month, but throughout the year.
