Three people were hospitalized after a high-speed chase crashed into a house in Hyde Park on Friday.
The chase began near Crenshaw Boulevard and Slawson Street. The driver was originally wanted for reckless driving, Los Angeles police said.
The vehicle eventually struck a commercial building at 2400 blocks on Slauson Avenue at approximately 4:45 pm.
After the collision, the driver jumped out of the car and started running down 2nd Avenue before being quickly caught and taken into custody.
Two passengers remain trapped inside the vehicle and need to be rescued by firefighters, police said.
Sky5 images show the suspect’s car completely inside the house, leaving behind a trail of vandalism and debris.
All three suspects were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Those terms were not available.
