If you love finding second-hand treasures, you’ll love rEVOLVEr’s resale. This queer-owned shop stands out for its inclusive, gender-free, and non-judgmental shopping experience.
Self-identified queer owner Sarah Randolph won Innovation Depot’s first-ever LGBTQ+ pitch contest to build a unique consignment shop.

A safe place for everyone, especially the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community, to find bits and pieces of everything from vintage to modern clothing, accessories, furniture, homewares, children’s items, and finally local art. I can.
You may find it at various markets around town.rEVOLVEr pop-up inside Vinegar, an artist-run non-profit art gallery Summer Lovin’ Stay in this quaint space until the end of August.

After browsing the unique second-hand treasures, walk a few doors down to a tea house. A community space centered around the power of tea.
Founded by Sierra Robber, the space brings the Birmingham community together through relaxing teas, activities and engaging special events. Cha House is based on the idea that tea naturally helps us relax our mind and enjoy the present moment.
Rober, along with Randolph, are also CO.STARTERS graduates through Create Birmingham, which provides a valuable resource for local entrepreneurs.
Cha House can be found at select hours inside Gaia Florals, a local women-owned shop that sells unique arrangements, bouquets and stems.
Cha House hosts a “Tea &” event every Thursday. See online for more details and ticket information. In addition, the Rovers will host live local music on Friday nights and Last Call His Baked Goods on Saturdays.
