The wealth of Farhat Shahzadi, a close friend of the wife of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, increased exponentially during his administration, News International reported.
When Farhat Shahzadi and her family were busy expanding their operations in other countries and registering companies in the UK, Imran Khan was seeking overseas Pakistanis to invest in the country.
According to reports, Farhat Shahzadi’s family registered/acquired four companies dealing in real estate business in the UK during the government of Imran Khan, whose businesses are SIC in nature as stated in the documents. . From 2019 to her 2021, Farhat’s sister registered/acquired her three companies, Farhat Shahzadi and her husband her one.
Farhat Shahzadi’s sister, Musarat Khan, owns or owned about six companies in the UK. Farhat Shahzadi, popularly known as Farah Khan/Farah Gogi, and her husband Ahsan Iqbal Jamil, who now lives abroad, face serious corruption allegations. Khan calls these allegations political victims of the current government.

Citing sources, the report said Farah Khan and her husband had acquired the company for the purpose of laundering money. , calling it “a mere allegation.”
Farah Khan’s sister Musarat Khan registered a company called Black Apple Investments Limited on November 9, 2021. The company deals in buying and selling properties and managing properties on a commission or contract basis, according to documents.
Al Muez Limited was another company registered by Farah Khan’s sister in 2019. Farah Khan owns various companies with this name in Pakistan, including Al Muez Dairy. The FIA reportedly said in his FIR that Farhat Shahzadi had acquired his 10.3-acre industrial land subsidized for his Al Muez Dairy in the Faisalabad industrial zone.
Musarat Khan acquired another company DMK Enterprises Limited on July 4, 2019. However, the company he disbanded in March 2021. Besides this, she owned other companies such as her Dayyan Enterprises Limited, Maximum MK Tradings Ltd and DKhans Constructions Limited.
According to the documents, funds have flowed into the accounts of Farah Khan, Ahsan Iqbal Jamil and Musarat Khan in the form of wire transfers. However, no documents revealed the leak, according to the report.
Before Imran Khan came to power, Farah Khan’s declared assets were reportedly worth Pakistani Rupees (PKR) 231,635,297 in 2017, according to reports. However, in his first three years of Imran Khan’s government, Farah’s declared wealth reached his 971 million PKR in 2021.
Farah Khan and her husband also took advantage of black money whitening (2019 Tax Amnesty Scheme) during Imran Khan’s regime. The couple reportedly declared PKR 328.7 million and PKR 20 million respectively under the 2019 Tax Amnesty Scheme.
Ahsan Iqbal Jamil called the FIA’s FIR “totally a political victim”. He further said that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mariam Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister’s Advisor Ata Tallaa and other government representatives have publicly made such threats against Farhat Shahzadi. .
