Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet just demonstrated they are still in love after their Golden Globes performance. The reality star began dating the actor in 2023. They’ve kept the intricacies of their relationship private, but a source recently reported that Kylie booked a castle for the Kardashian-Jenner family to meet Chalamet after only six months of dating.
Fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan never expected Kylie Jenner to date Timothée Chalamet. The couple startled everyone with a public kiss in 2023. Since then, they haven’t spoken about their romance, preferring to keep the details private. While Kylie has already divulged intimate information on reality TV, she and Chalamet may be more serious than fans initially thought.
A source previously told that Kylie made elaborate plans for her family to meet Chalamet during the couple’s first six months of dating. Kylie allegedly rented the Reschio Hotel, a restored 10th-century castle in Umbria, Italy, for the summer of 2023. She then brought her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters to a European location to meet Chalamet.
“Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall —they’d all met Timothée before, but the relationship was very new at that point, and they wanted to get to know him properly,” the source alleged. “It wasn’t until Timothée went on that holiday with the girls and Kris — and a bunch of Kylie’s friends — that he was considered part of the family; it was sort of like an induction holiday.”
The insider further stated that the couple “fell in love” during the trip and “came back from that holiday a real couple.”
Hotel rooms start around $1,200 per night, with the Tower Suite costing over $4,000 per night. It’s unclear whether Kylie chose rooms for herself, Chalamet, or her family, but we’re betting she went all out for the occasion.
Some sources claimed that Kylie Jenner’s family was bewildered by her relationship with Timothée Chalamet. They may feel more at ease now that the couple is going strong until 2025. Kris Jenner “liked” Vogue’s Instagram image of Kylie and Chalamet kissing at the Golden Globes. Khloé Kardashian also “liked” a post from a fan account including photographs and videos of Kylie and Chalamet at the star-studded event.
The Kardashian-Jenner family does not publicly praise Kylie and Chalamet. It may also be for Chalamet’s comfort. Fans noticed in April 2024 that Kim Kardashian appeared to cover Chalamet’s name tag at their family’s Easter supper. Chalamet most certainly wants to keep his job at the forefront of everyone’s minds rather than his relationship, therefore he may request that his name tag stay blurred.
Those close to Kylie Jenner may be concerned about Timothée Chalamet’s dedication to their relationship. A source informed in June 2024 that Kylie’s close circle had “fears” about the Dune actor’s investment.
“Kylie is trying to hold onto her relationship with Timothée, but those around her fear it is becoming evident that he’s just not as invested in their relationship as she is anymore,” the insider alleged. “Kylie is madly in love with Timothée and she put so much into this relationship. She went so public with their romance because she was sure it would last. But those closest to her feel he doesn’t make her a priority, and her sisters are now telling her to walk away, but she can’t.”
Her sisters’ attitudes appear to have shifted since then. All signs point to the Kardashian-Jenner family’s approval of Chalamet.
